Well, It’s been awhile since our last post but not without good reason. The GDN Registry has been diligently working to increase its visibility and availability and due to the hard work of the team at the registry, .gdn has become the 3rd fastest growing new gTLD and has crossed the 65,000 domain registration mark (according to namestat.org). With help from new registrars, .gdn is on the rise & is now firmly in the top 40 of most registered new TLDs.
While domain registrations have been steadily rising, our GDN Registry team has been busy hitting the pavement. The team has traveled to Orlando for the Inta 2016 Conference to discuss domains with trademark holders. The team then hopped on a flight straight to Phoenix for the WorldHostingDays Conference where they met with a myriad of different people and businesses in domain industry most notably Ascio. The team has been busy increasing .gdn visibility as well as letting others in the domain world know about how .gdn can help them in their ventures.
The jet-setting doesn’t stop there. On July 31, .gdn is proud to be a sponsor of the 1st annual Domain Startup Summit. The summit will be an event where entrepreneurs and registries with new gTLD’s can meet and discuss the internet world. This is an exciting event that we cannot recommend enough entrepreneurs of all kinds.
The GDN Registry has been busy reaching out to all parts of the country in an effort to expand .gdn to all sectors of the business world in an effort to create business opportunities that can benefit everyone who uses the .gdn domain.
